Another Conversation

I was half asleep and my phone rang:

Me: Hello?
Person on the other end(POTOE): Yeah, hey, what's going on?
Me: Nothing. (still sleepy)
POTOE: Nothing? What are you doing?
Me: Sleeping.

POTOE: Sleeping? (laughingly) You're asleep?
Me: Yeah, I was tired. (laughingly)

AWKWARD SILENCE

Me: Who is this?
POTOE: Who is this? Sarah?
Me: Nope.
POTOE: Oh, sorry about that, wrong number.

*We hang up*
Is it sad that our conversations have gotten so generic?
